About the authors: Robert V. Remini won the National Book Award for the third volume of his definitive biography of Andrew Jackson and is the author of biographies of Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, and others. He is Professor of History Emeritus and Research Professor of Humanities Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Remini is the official Historian of the House of Representatives. He lives in Wilmette, Illinois.

Clark (Ret.) served in the United States Army for 34 years and rose to the rank of four-star general as NATO's Supreme Allied Commander, Europe.  He is the author of A Time to Lead, as well as the best-selling books Waging Modern War and Winning Modern Wars.
