Hardwood Maple Musical Rhythm Bones

Musical bones have a history stretching back centuries, and were certainly among of the instruments brought to the North American colonies by the earliest European settlers. The rhythm of the bones contributed to the distinctive music of the new American nation as Anglo-Irish, African-American, and Creole influences came together to form unique new musical styles.

Our bones are hand-crafted in Vermont from solid pieces of local maple.  Pairs are packaged in a poly bag with history information and instructions.
