About the author: K.M. Waldvogel was born in Illinois and grew up in central Wisconsin. Writing has intrigued her since she was in fourth grade and received encouragement from her teacher. She is the author of a published picture book, a middle grade narrative non-fiction book, and continues to work on other writing projects. Inspiration for her stories comes from people and events in her daily life.
She reads a wide variety of genres and admires the works of Agatha Christie, Avi, J.K. Rowling, Eve Bunting, Charles Dickens, and many other talented authors.
She and her husband currently reside in Wisconsin and enjoy its beautiful seasons and lakes but also spend time in sunny Arizona.
